Reports Report 5280c (Event 5280-2022)

Observer
Name Mary Ann S
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks It was remarkable I have never seen anything like it in my 40 years alive. I have seen plenty of shooting stars, eclipses, shuttle launches and re-entry, but I have never seen anything so close, so bright and without any sound. I am happy to help further in any way I can I am pretty certain the time is close i would say within 5-10 minutes respectively.

Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 2s
Length 10°
Remarks it started as a straight line off of the circular explosion and then it fizzled down almost like a firework
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks It was a bright white center with light colors that appeared blueish, greenish and yellowish around the edges, there was no sound and then the light trailed off as if it was a super fast firework. I considered all alternatives and did a quick internet search and am almost 100% sure a fireball is what I observed given the recent activity around this date.
