Experience Level 1/5
Remarks My fellow employee saw it too he was right next to me. It was a bright green fireball with an orange tail. We were standing outside the police station and it was flying low almost completely horizontal. For the first half-moment it had no tail, Just a bright green fireball. Then within that same instant it grew the tail. The whole thing, fireball and tail got brighter and more yellowish before the green fireball burst into pieces and the whole thing dissipated. Whole thing lasted max 4 or 5 seconds. We were astonished at how slow it seemed compared to typical shooting stars. I’ve seen those. But I’ve never seen anything like that.
