Experience Level 1/5
Remarks We saw several 'shooting stars' as well between 10pm and 1am. We were fishing on Alum Creek in Delaware. Sky. Was clear, moon was not visible about the tree line. An amazing experience! This 'fireball' was very diffrent from the 'shooting stars' we saw. The shooting stars we just brief white streaks of light going in random directions. The fireball was bright red with a reddish orange tail, and was traveling south to north, and was accompanied by a loud hissing/crackling noise that we thought sounded like a sparkler.
