This might have been a fragment of a firework but I didn't see or hear any other fireworks in the area that evening. The colors were striking but I didn't hear any associated sound or boom.

It broke into two or three pieces, traveling just slightly apart. The end colors appeared to be more orange-yellow-red whereas the original/main color was more blue-green.
