Remarks At first we were shocked then wondered (since it lasted so long and felt very close) if it was a firework. But didn't sound like a fire work and never went out. I actually got in the car to see if I would find commotion or debris on any of the streets a bit away. Went onto facebook to see if there was anyone else that saw it. A friend about 10 minutes away asked if they had "seen that in the sky". I should ask her about it. I got distracted at the time and so we didn't really talk about it. We often go out and watch for the shooting stars in August, and I saw a crazy one. It was a white streak straight above that left an imprint that dimmed every half second for about 2-3 seconds, until I saw smoke in it's place. It didn't streak so much as it almost just "appeared". That was in 2021 August. Very cool.
