Reports Report 6969b (Event 6969-2022)

Observer
Name Mary G
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks It was much larger than the few shooting stars that I have seen before. The trail was much longer and wider as well. I was out for a walk with my dad and just happened to look up at the right time. I was up on a hill so I could clearly see it go out before it went behind the trees. It was moving so fast that it had gone out before I realized what it was. My dad only saw the the little flash right before it went out.

Remarks The flash was not much brighter than the original but immediately after the flash it disappeared. It looked like there was an object like a rock that was somewhat flat at the beginning of the tail and after the flash it may have fragmented but it was definitely not emitting light any more.
