Reports Report 7191b (Event 7191-2022)

Observer
Name Brenda T
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks As noted earlier, this information comes from a timelapse of the event as opposed to a visual sighting. I have individual still shots of the whole sequence. This was taken from my home so all angles are estimates but I know where I placed the camera and how it was set up for maximum view of Orion. All photos are mine. The post-processing animation was done by Tim Doucette as noted on the video. I work as his assistant sometimes, at his Deep Sky Eye Observatory in Quinan, Nova Scotia.

Remarks This fireball was "seen" by my camera in a timelapse. I'm reporting it according to my camera's placement. I know this location well as it is my own back yard. I'm also using the attached animation from the timelapse to estimate duration. My astronomer friend Tim Doucette of Deep Sky Eye Observatory did the animation from a series of frames I provided. So what I "saw" is what the camera saw as an extension of myself. I hope this is OK. I felt it was an important event because of intensity and the length of that trail.
