Reports Report 1743o (Event 1743-2013)

Observer
Name Debra S
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks This was a very unusual sighting for me because most of the meteors/fireballs I have observed have been at night usually far away with small streaks in the sky. I was passing over the Tombigbee Waterway bridge on Highway 78 headed toward Tupelo, MS. This meant that the fireball was in the western sky just over the treeline. This particular sighting was during the early afternoon in a blue sky with few clouds, the fireball was large, very bright and ended with a brilliant flash.
