| Remarks | I was driving when I saw the object. I first saw it directly above my car. Initially I thought the bright light was a large airplane's landing lights about 10,000 feet high, then I was afraid a plane was crashing, then the light turned green and I realized it was a meteor/meteorite(?). It went from directly above me to directly in front of me in about 3 seconds and disappeared maybe 10-20 degrees above the horizon, if I remember correctly. I do remember for sure that it was 06:47 in the morning and that my car said I was driving N/NE. It was totally dark outside and the object was very bright but not bright enough to light up the sky/ground like a full moon or the sun would. It was just like very bright plane lights, or maybe 2-3 times the size of Venus. Sorry I was driving and couldn't observe better or record any more details! |
