| Remarks | Night sky was unremarkable, 1/4 to 1/2 moon. The initial burst/explosion was so bright that although I was engaged in conversation, I noticed it and turned. Just in time to see it in all it's glory. Had a long tail trailing behind and was moving upward then started going downward until vision was obscured by tree branches. This took my breath away, never have I seen anything like this. |
