The size was astounding. I estimate it was visually as large as half a full moon. It moved incredibly fast and was gone without a trace in less than one second. It did leave a trail of light, but that trail was also gone in less than a second. It did not streak very far across the sky. The entire path could be visually covered by three fingers held up in the observers field of view
