Reports Report 8140e (Event 8140-2022)

Remarks I casually go out into this country road area to observe the meteor showers happening in the fall time, as it’s darker there and you can see the stars better in the dark. I’ve seen a handful of “shooting stars” this fall (faint, thin, white streaks of light that disappear quickly). However, this “fireball” was like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It was much larger and brighter than any other shooting stars I’ve observed in the past. It was tinged green in color, like green flame. And it went straight down, with a thick streak of green light in its trail, quite unlike the faint shooting stars I’ve seen before. It happened so quickly, but it’s brightness and color were undeniable. At first I wasn’t even sure what I was seeing; quite bizarre , yet so beautiful.
