Reports Report 8342cm (Event 8342-2022)

Observer
Name JAMES S
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I was observing the lunar eclipse from my front yard looking WNW in a fairly dark sky. I didn't have a watch, but observed that the time was 0607 when i got back inside after lingering an estimated 7 minutes after the fireball event. What was very different about the event was how it began, i.e. with a flash of bright light, followed by a streak of light only just above the horizon. It may have ended at the horizon, or that may have been only an impression. In the event that i applied the graphics poorly, the fireball was traveling away from my position. The angle of movement was no more than 225 degrees, but may have been less from my point of observation. As to rating myself, i have no astro instruments/telescopes. I observe with eyeballs only, but with regularity as i was doing on the 8th.
