Remarks I was on the roof of the Hyatt Hotel and was looking between the Empire State Building and a slightly closer tall building and it appeared from my viewpoint to be lower in the sky than the top of the Empire State Building. Several other people saw it as well. I have a photo of the viewpoint but not the fireball.
