Reports Report 8961l (Event 8961-2022)

Observer
Name Ken L
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks My field of view was restricted greater than 180 degrees. Noticed a very bright white light lighting up cars parked outside and then observed a white ball (about 50% size of full moon when it rises) pass into vision at 180 degrees and finish at 160 degrees (checked these with compass). It was low on the horizon ( estimate 10 degrees when seen at 180 and 8 degrees when gone). There wasn't a tail like I've seen on shooting stars There were sparks when it disappeared. It was 4.30am when I saw the clock afterwards. First time Ive seen anything like it
