I am puzzled as to why it sounded sort of like a huge jet plane after the boom is that how they sound?

Between 1 and 2 seconds after the flash lighting up my paddock there was a huge quick boom whick shook my house. I only saw my whole paddock light up in my security camera not the actual asteroid I saw it very briefly after the boom at the back of my house

I have a big hill behind my house so very quickly it was over the top of hill heading towards dargaville and then there's was like a flicker flash in the sky above the hill then nothing the flicker flash was very light blue 2 seconds after that their was a much smaller flicker flash slightly to the right of that
