We have also just discovered an area nearby along the Cooks River where there is a magnetic anomaly. Apple iphones, Android & an analog compass all go crazy about 50-100 metres from my house. I have seen fireballs/meteorites 3 times here when on my deck at night (totally drug & alcohol free home). Each time while sitting outside chatting to friend.

Saw a very bright yellow & green flash and it landed in my backyard. I was sitting on elevated deck & there are plenty of trees behind, so easy to be sure it landed in front of the trees & mangroves along the river behind my house. Saw it with one other person.
