Reports Report 1573n (Event 1573-2015)

Observer
Name Jan C
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I managed to see the 2nd half of the flight and thought it was a flare. However, the background clouds at some great distance did light up. The gap between both images was exactly 2 seconds and each exposure was 5 seconds long as noted by the flashing aircraft wing/tail lights. I'd estimate the magnitude of this fireball as at least -8 at its brightest. Exposure 5 sec, iso 1000, 35mm @ f/2.0. Bright sodium light is at 120 degrees azimuth.
