| Terminal flash | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | It seemed to be a small streak, culminating in a large bright light growing in size, until it diminished in brightness and size to nothing. Basically, it looked like a single firework that launched, but didn't explode into blooms, and it was moving downward, right next to the moon.. (IT LOOKED SO COOL!) |
| Fragmentation | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | I did not see individual fragments, but it did look as though it was leaving behind glowing remains. though I imagined it was a LOT closer at the time, I think these reports seem to match up with mine: http://www.amsmeteors.org/2013/09/large-fireball-meteor-with-sonics-over-alabama/ http://blog.al.com/spotnews/2013/09/post_996.html |
