| Remarks | Riding my motorcycle Southbound on River Road, it was after sunset and the streetlights were lit. I initially saw a bright flash of light up to my left (eastern sky) and I immediately looked up at it (even at the risk of not watching my driving!) and saw a insanely bright streak going from East to West and descending at about a 40 degree angle. The initial white streak became quite blue towards the object that was falling, I could clearly see "chunks" flying off the object and being left behind, these "chunks" being white and not blue, but they originated from the blue area. My impression was that this would hit the ground, and it may have but I don't have a clue where. This is the third one of these I have seen in my 50+ years. |
