We have a lot of light aircraft in the area and it’s close to an airbase. I am used to seeing air traffic but this was so significantly different that it made me stop in my tracks and take note.

Looked like a vapour trail against the dark night sky. It dissipated much much quicker though. It was smoky, But had a slight glow.
