Reports Report 9903bk (Event 9903-2022)

Observer
Name Ben G
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I first thought it was a fireworks falling from the sky, but it was more like a dark burning ball with "gas" around it and a trail looking like a burning flame. From my point of view the trajectory seemed almost vertical and a bit curved. I immediately tought it was a meteor seen from far away because the night sky didn't light up. Back home a quickly looked the news to see if there were other reports of a meteo nearby but coundn't find anything immediately after. The I forgot about the observation. A few days later I looked up on Google again and found there was indeed reports of a metero sightning in Belgium at that exact time. But sightnings were mainly north of the country. I can confirm I saw the meteor from my region East of the country.
