Reports Report 195a (Event 195-2023)

Observer
Name Eric C
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks Only once saw a 5 second arcing fireball at night. Have seen thousands of meteors. The sun was just past midday, and the sky was clear--was amazed when I saw it. Lasted just about a second, about 40 degrees above the horizon and I was looking West. started as a bright white streak changed to orange just before ending. Wish I saw this one at night--would have illuminated the sky.
