Reports Report 423v (Event 423-2023)

Observer
Name Angela W
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was looking at Ursa Major when I saw it. Ursa Major looked vertical (on its end with Alkaid at the bottom). The meteor appeared near the bottom of the constellation and travelled up it, apparently in a near vertical trajectory. It seemed by far the brightest thing in the sky and it’s ‘tail’ seemed very bright and wide.
