Remarks This was a very, very vivid green ball traveling very fast, yet no sound, More of a streak than a tail and this was not a fireball yet this looked to me as if it could be an impact meteor. The trajectory was steep, yet, I heard no sound of impact. I lost sight of the object over the tree line, but I could still see the green, through the trees, which still have leaves on them at this time of year. This was a rather large object and the center was a beautiful vivid, almost fluorescent green, with a bright white-to-clear halo around the outer edge. I fully expected to hear this, as it appeared much lower to me than a large airliner would be flying and moving at a very great speed. I followed this with my head turning along with the object for what seemed to be about 3 to 4 second's. This covers a great distance from my vantage point. This looked to me to be exactly like a meteor from a meteor shower, The meteor's you view that are entering our atmosphere from the edge of inner space, only this object was much, much, much closer than I have ever seen before, definitely in our atmosphere, definitely closer to Earth. This was a very, very bright, it had a beautiful color and it was clearly round. I have never in my life seen anything even close to resembling this object and I am an avid night sky watcher.
