I’ve seen a few quick flashes of meteors in my life but this one was very unique. Slow developing, I haven’t really seen that before. The trail reminded me of plane trails but this was shimmery in a very dark night sky.

Smoky, shimmery trail. It looked a lot like a trail behind a plane in a clear blue sky except its black night time, but the trail was persistent for several seconds.
