Remarks I hope I answered the trail question correctly. There was a clear trail, but I am not sure if it remained for any time after the meteor itself disappeared. Other than that, I noticed it was much bigger that the upper-atmosphere streaks I’ve seen in the past during meteor showers. I thought it was a fast moving plane at first because I’d never seen a shooting star like that, but it was much too fast and bright for a plane.
