Remarks I had enough time to watch it come at us, ask what it was, get out of my car and stare as it passed over and it vanished right as it appeared that it would collide with the Lady of the Rockies statue.

Remarks Apx 5 seconds after sighting what I thought was a very bright large and growing shooting star heading directly toward me, it grew much larger and brighter and the remnants trailing behind it became much more prominent. The leading point was almost less miraculous than the trailing embers that followed about 10-15 lengths behind the bright leading point
