Remarks The whole episode took no more than 5 secs. It was a bright cloudless night and I was hoping to see the Aurora Borealis. This fireball was directly under Orions Belt. So as earlier it was in the SW. Saw the trail of something then a very bright flash, and fragmentation. We have aircraft here at altitude and I thought it was an aircraft crashing.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks Very bright, fragmented flash - 2 secs
