| Remarks | direction and precise location of sighting are approximate since I was driving on a winding road, but in generally easterly direction. I would compare the image to a basketball, aflame, about 100-150 yards away, on a downward trajectory about 25 degrees from the horizon. Much brighter and larger in appearance than a typical shooting star. I would like to hear of any corroborating (or other) information about this event. |
