Reports Report 3055j (Event 3055-2023)

Observer
Name Richard T
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks It was heavy cloud cover and the fireball was either so bright it penetrated the clouds or it was so low it was just at the bottom of the cloud cover. It looked much larger then previous shooting stars I have seen. It looked like it passed lower then most of the plane traffic we have in the area. At first I thought it was a plane but it was so intensly bright and crossed the entire horizon under 2 seconds. It almost looked like it was tearing through the low hanging clouds.
