Remarks I have seen quite a few small and big shooting stars, including those in the dark skies of Big Bend national park, which I thought were the biggest. But this was THICK- so bright, vibrant, and long! Beautiful tail. Significantly bigger than any shooting star I've witnessed. It was so bright and massive, I noticed it from my peripheral, thinking it was a plane. And it ended up being above me. It lasted quite a few seconds. I almost turned a 180 to view it in it's entirety, although I didn't catch the beginning as it became visible after some trees beside me likely blocking that view. Toward the end, the tail broke and made a mini tail behind it for a second.
