| Remarks | Spotted this while outside with friends wrapping up my birthday party. Was looking down from my back porch when I saw a very bright and fast moving object at the top of my field of vision that was unmistakably a meteor. My head shot up and I watched the bright light quickly streak across the sky with what I would best describe as a ’burn trail’, both disappearing within a few seconds. I was recollecting this occurrence this morning and decided to google ‘Chicago Meteor’ in the event that anyone else had seen the same thing, which is how I ended up on this website. |
