Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks Much of the sky suddenly brightened with a flash. It was like when a close and strong inter-cloud lightning bolt lights up most of the sky during a nighttime thunderstorm. I was initially looking in a different direction but could tell that the flash seemed to originate to the South.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks Immediately upon looking south, I saw a bright fireball that quickly fragmented into 2 or 3 pieces, looking like sparks.
