| Remarks | I am a photographer of sky phenomena, such as lightning and atmospheric optics. The event was too brief for me to photograph, but I did shoot a still image of the sky within a minute of the event in order to remind myself of my location and the relative position of the event in the sky. I have never seen a daylight fireball before this - the sky was perfectly clear, and I have no doubt that it was in fact a fireball. Feel free to contact me for more detail or to see my photo. I was excited by the event, and particularly to be able to hear it. There was no audible "report" or explosion, so it was perhaps some distance away, but close enough for me to hear it definitely. |
