Reports Report 2092ts (Event 2092-2013)

Observer
Name Roberta B
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I was driving my car while the meteor was moving across the sky. I was traveling northwest along Dorset Drive toward Newcastle and by the time I reached Newcastle the meteor finally disappeared ("went out"). I was able to see it until it fizzled. The sky was pretty bright from local twilight, which is why I estimate its brightness to be magnitude -13 (full moon). Since I was in my car, I was unable to tell whether there was any sound associated with this meteor. The color started as a greenish white and eventually transitioned to an orange-ish color. I would say it lasted maybe 15 seconds or more, long enough for me to drive from Mandalay to Newcastle at less than 25 MPH.
