| Remarks | I Fly in helicopter daily- this seemed close when it initially flashed brightly in a green color no more than 2 miles away and the initial altitude seemed to be no more 2,000 feet. My coworker and I are both federal employees and he is a Veteran. We were headed to work in Houma and had just left New Iberia. The fireball was seen south of Hwy 90 above Lydia, LA and may have landed as far as Baldwin, LA south of 90. The fireball seemed to be traveling almost parallel to Hwy 90. |
