Reports Report 3661e (Event 3661-2023)

Observer
Name Clint B
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks The meteor was heading straight to the south. The meteor increased in intensity, flashed a blue white, and decreased away all within 1.5 seconds. I spend alot of time looking at night, and this was the best METEOR I have seen in the last 15 years. I did see a better event back in spring of 2015 or 2016 when a chinese satelite came out of orbit and fragmented into many huge firestreaks that were as long as 45 degrees of the sky. That satelite burn up lasted over three minutes, and I was lucky enough to watch it from the southern horizon to the northern horizon.
