Reports Report 4018c (Event 4018-2023)

Observer
Name Jeremiah U
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I've seen many "normal" meteors fall, even a fair amount of space junk - including an impressive piece of man made junk that must have been in a poor orbit because I was facing due east and it streaked in a horizontal line at about 20deg inclination from south to north - so believe me when I say, this was a rock, this exploded out over the pacific, and something definitely landed in the ocean. I am certain that I heard a sonic boom, just one and it was low volume but oddly I recently underwent a hearing test which I'm willing to submit the results of in order to show that I have very, very good hearing. Finally, I am a very observant person.

Remarks -
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks it was a small flash, almost just kind of seemed like there were "instantly" for or five objects of the same size. like someone suddenly turned on 4 or 5 more of the same light bulb.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks 4 to 5 large or "same size as original" seemingly from a single point. they began trailing with distance between growing as they fall. there were countless light bright spots falling at all intervals from the main bodies.
