Remarks I consider this sighting to be an extra rare & unique observation. Being that I only stepped out to check the mailbox & was walking while looking ahead when it happened, I saw the entire duration straight on! This day happens to be my Birthday & it felt like a heavenly gift that was memorable, unexpected & perfect timing by chance.

Remarks The fireball streaked horizontally across the sky & broke into about 5 pieces. I first noticed the bright white light, then it had a blue hue that appeared more green when it fragmented. I saw about 50 Perseid meteors the morning of 8/13/23 & some were stunning, but this fireball was utterly spectacular to witness!
