Reports Report 4450o (Event 4450-2023)

Observer
Name Malcolm W
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was out looking for Perseids when I saw a very bright meteor, a large bright ball of light zipped across the sky moving approx 050 to 230 but stayed at approx same height above the horizon. The height above horizon was if you were pointing up with your arm against your ear. It left a trail that faded after a few seconds. My estimate of magnitude is just a guess but it was very bright, much brighter than Venus gets, it was quite large & fits the description on your website for a fireball so thought it worth reporting.
