| Remarks | It was bright enough that both my husband and I turned our heads to the right to look. Much bigger, closer looking than shooting stars. It had a tail but didn't last more than a few seconds; however, we were in a clearing surrounded by trees, so I am not sure if we witnessed it in its entiret -- trees may have obscured some of its trajectory from our view. What we saw was just above the tree line (of trees not 100 yards away). |
