I have mentioned the sighting to several people but can't find anyone else who saw it. This area is very dark at night and just cottages on the lake. I was sitting on my deck overlooking the lake and saw a bright light coming over the tree line. I thought it was an airplane flying low but it was a site to behold. The most amazing thing I've ever seen. I could see the fire trailing behind the fireball with a green/blue tail. It was really big and certainly not like any shooting star. I would love to know if anyone else witnessed it or if it was caught on satellite. This viewing changed my life, it was that spectacular.

About 10 minutes later I heard a boom but it could have been something else, not sure. It was huge!!!
