Very exciting. I believe this meteor hit the ground to the south somewhere. I live off-grid in an astronomical zone of Idaho. I saw this for several seconds through a cabin window with all the lights off. When it disappeared below the horizon I was outside on the deck in 3-4 seconds and waited for the sound but it never came. I filed an earlier report (2145PDT) on this but used the wrong time (I filed PDT but it was MDT and closer to 2148 MDT looking back at my texts). You can update the older report time or delete it and keep this one.
