| Remarks | 1st saw the red light, thought it might be an airplane. Then we saw a long/wide red flash, so wife grabbed our binoculars. Wife and I were both able to view it as it went horizontally across the night sky from south to north over the Atlantic ocean sky. With her binoculars we could each see it was a red "ball" with a HUGE concave "shield" well in front of it, like it was entering atmosphere. 10pm +/- 15 min. Sorry did not note at time. Also sorry if this is not fireball. Please let me know what it was. Thank you. |
