| Remarks | The date is correct. The time is approximate. I am confident that it was within an hour of the time I’ve given (4.30am UK time). I was staring out of the window in the dark because my father had just died and I was waiting for the undertakers to arrive. What I saw did not match usual descriptions and images of meteoroids or fireballs. The sky was clear and brightly lit by the almost full moon. Right in the middle of my vision there was a big flash, as bright as the moon, and then a trail moving directly away from me (south), travelling down towards the horizon. It was a stunning sight,. I would be very interested to know more if you have any more information. Thank you. |
