| Remarks | I am unsure about the exact time and how much to the south the directon was. But we were looking at Saturn at the time, and it was about 75° to the left of Saturn. I experienced the event as just being 0.1 s and I saw it directly through the opening of the observatory (the opening was toward Saturn, and I was in the right side of the opening looking by coincidence toward the south). The flash was so bright that my friends saw its reflection lighting up the inside of the observatory (all lights were off inside the observatory) . |
