Reports Report 8283bm (Event 8283-2023)

Observer
Name Brendan J
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks This appeared similar to how the example photos of fireballs displayed I was able to see it through a tree in my backyard at night. The fireball was obvious and visible with decent size based on my location and seemed as it would have fallen within a 50 to 100 mi radius. Please do contact me about this if you would like! I unfortunately did not get any pictures as it was a brief event. I did my best to check NASA's Skyfall database ASGARD as well as the IRIS SAGE Seismic Monitor with no results. I will continue to use the available tools that NASA recommends for reporting and researching fireballs/skyfall events such as the NCDC Weather and Climate toolkit.
