Remarks Looked similar to a Roman candle flare out, but seemed very high in the sky and far away. It appeared to be much too large for a firework in my opinion.

Remarks Zig zag shape, smoke similar to a jet contrail. Gray or black against a setting sun of dark red to purple sky. Did not dissipate. I lost sight of it as I was driving. Yellow green fireball, fizzled out like a Roman candle.
