It was pretty far away and I have no idea if that means edge of my city or states away, but it was visible to my naked eye and a little bigger than the other stars I could see.

It got a big halo burst of light blue underneath (in front of its trajectory) when it started falling behind the tree line - there was also a tiny star like thing trailing right behind it
